PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) allows non verbal and verbally challenged students to communicate needs and wants to the people in their environment. This video shows ways to teach asking for help (and other concepts) and engaging a communication partner to get the help. It shows a variety of natural and staged scenarios where this skill is useful. https://youtu.be/MeprbFyzrFw?t=8m29s. This video starts @ minute 8:29 and goes to around 9:50 before starting into another topic area....Which might be of interest to you as well.
